A short overview of some different power connectors.

= 12v
= Ground
= 5v

6 PIN PCIE Connector:

Max watt: 75w

8 PIN PCIE Connector:

Max watt: 150w

PCI Express x 16 slot:

Max watt: 75w

SATA Connector:

Max watt: 54w
Be careful when powering a riser with SATA since 54w are less than 75w :D

Molex Connector:

Max watt: 132w

To safely run max watt, your wires/pins will need to be the correct spec!
